Pantry Moth

Identification

Pantry moths are small, greyish-brown moths often found around kitchens and food storage areas. Larvae appear as small white caterpillars inside dried goods.

Behaviour

They infest stored foods such as grains, pet food, nuts, and baking supplies. Once inside packaging, they reproduce rapidly.

Prevention

Store dry goods in airtight containers. Inspect new food items before bringing them indoors. Rotate older products.

Control & Intervention
